Look at DNR site tonight, I noticed that Indigo is applying for CULs in T14 R16. Is this the farthest south they have gone and is it the first time for anyone to apply for CULs in Cotton Valley

Jay, how far west is T14 R16 (Desoto) from Highway 171. Is it nearer to Texas border and west of Keatchie
West of Keatchie in both Caddo and DeSoto and stopping with the Texas line.

We have a little property in Keatchie (minerals only) in Sec. 21 of 14/15. Do you all think the liquid play will reach there? Also we have another little patch of minerals in Sec. 1 of 13/15 (Grand Cane), do you all think liquid play will reach there?

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
