Inside Shreveport City limits near Mansfield Rd, & 70th St.

We have property scattered throughout out this area where we have reserved minerals. I believe it is the Shreveport Field, but would have to ck my leases. One lease has expired. Chesapeake came to us last yr. (before other lease had expired) and was anxious to lease up more land we had purchased, sold, and reserved minerals on. We did a 5 yr. lease on that. Now, there is no news for that area. Anyone know anything

Had to look up where the minerals were--sec. 22 T17n R14w.

Think any oil or liquids in that area? About 2 yrs.  ago, Chesapeake was anxious to lease what we had acquired in that area (additional to what we had leased with them in late 2008), so they leased the addditional batch for 5 yrs. and didn't say anything about the first lease on other properties that was terminating within the month

Just wish they would move a little north. LOL. Jay, what is your opinion of sec. 22--any liquids, oil?

No wonder they aren't jumping up and down to drill
