I missed saying how helpful this site and its many colorful contributors have been to me.
I would have been clueless, was clueless, about it, before landing on it in a general google search for Haynesville Shale.

I don't know how many lives and landowners have been enriched in more ways than one by the nuggets of knowledge, and technical facts to be found here.
In answer to "Has it changed your life (yet)?" Not quite, but I get get a lease finalized last week, so it's coming. I don't live in the area, but like many other out-of-staters, will be spending increasing time in La around ancestral lands and buying-and-spending there just like the residents. I think this is a huge boon for mostly rural parishes and the wealth and jobs it will generate. G-d bless technological know-how and its application uses which affect our daily lives. I'm delighted for NW La, its residents, and the USA. Best to all.
What a great story this has been for many people that I know in Desoto Parish. I have been in a position to personally know many people that came into a lot of money. A lot of these folks have been here a long time. They certainly deserve this God send. Probably it will never be the same, thank goodness.

There have been a lot of lessons to all this. We all have a lot to be thankful for.
