Are units located  in the Lower Cotton Valley still cosidered to be in South Caddo's Cotton Valley?  Paticularly section 33, 16n-13w elm grove.

Drilling & Production Units are defined in their applications and orders by depth definitions citing the logs of nearby wells.  The depth definition is more important than the formation name that is used in the app/order.  For example all Haynesville Units have depth definitions which include the Mid-Bossier  and there are CV and LCV units that include both the Bossier and the Haynesville.  See this blog for examples.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
