we have had little lease companies call wanting to lease for 500 to 1100 an acre.
would like to know if anybody know if chk petrohawk or questar are leasing in any section in or around shongaloo

Joe Dyer here,North of town, I just least some land from a company I cant mention at this time,but it was aroond 3500.oo an acre. I might have been the last one in my section at this time, Joe Dyer.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
