We own land in the Sharp 22 and Benson 27 and Milstead wells in union parish, LA.  Fear of horizontal drilling and potential contamination of the underground water sources resulted in a non-consent on the leasing.  Now, the wells that are drilled are vertical and for the most part historically safe.  What is the best next step?  Thank you.

From my experience you'll be lucky to get a dime. By the time the well pays out, production will be way down or non-existent and they will then want to charge to rework it or put more money into it. Get the bonus and lease.
