Question for anyone with online access to Bossier Parish records...Has Merit, now Penterra, assigned any of the leases it made a few months back in T22N R12W?

Penterra has only filed 19 leases since its name change on March 22.  It is unlikely that any assignment instruments would be filed this early.  It can take many months after the leases are filed in the public record.  And after their client has ceased leasing and started drilling.

How do you know?

O&G attorney who does deals on a regular basis had to have it disclosed on a lease agreement. Penterra is Whiting. I just heard on Tuesday of this week. No kidding.
