Is there anything going on in the Monroe area as far as leases?  I see some recent injection wells in the area.  Thanks for the info.  Interested in land there and wondering if I should consider whether it is under mineral lease recently.

Most of the Monroe gas field is held by production and has been that way since the 1900s. There is some leasing in Morehouse parish and Union parish. This area includes the old Monroe gas field but most of that is hbp.

There are also many large servitudes HBP around the monroe gas field. you really have to watch the title there.
