T. Boone Pickens, founder and chairman of BP Capital Management and author of "The Pickens Plan," will provide the keynote address during the National Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Fleet Summit in Louisville, Ky., on March 24.
Pickens will discuss the opportunities that natural gas creates for the transportation industry with respect to significant fuel cost savings, environmental benefits, and a decrease in American consumption of imported petroleum.
The one-day National NGV Fleet Summit will include speakers from heavy-duty truck manufacturers, gas equipment and technology providers, and fuel station developers. The summit will gather fleet managers from across the U.S., all attending to learn about ways to power their trucking operations with natural gas.
This event is presented by Clean Energy and sponsored by Daimler Trucks North America, Freightliner, Freightliner Custom Chassis, Westport Innovations, Kenworth, and Peterbilt Motor Company. This event is organized by environmental consulting firm Gladstein, Neandross & Associates.
