Thanks for posting this Bobi. I live between Minden and Dubberly and this will definitely help the economy and hopefully increase interest in the surrounding area.
I heard that a plant was going in north of Simsboro, Lincoln Parish, but haven't seen any information about it. There is some drilling activity in the area by Wildhorse.
Maybe getting ready to bust open....
The "bust open" occurred about two years ago. You just don't hear much about it as Wildhorse is a private company and generally doesn't put out press releases. Since they are private there are no analysts following (and reporting on) them and no Q & As at presentations. They fly under the radar excepting the occasional mention they receive here on GHS.
There is existing infrastructure to handle NGLs in this part of N LA that's been in place for years. However as production increases year over year additional capacity is needed. That's what the new facility is about. It will not create much in the way of new jobs but every little bit helps.
My family helped Mr. Hodges and Mr. T. L. James cobble together the Sugar Creek Field, ca. 1930. Ditto the Athens Field with Mr. Skelly, ca. 1948.
Wildhorse is leasing all of our interest between Tulip and Marsalis. I would be interested if anyone has a clue as to their purpose.
Wildhorse appears to be testing a westward extension of their CV liquids play in the Terryville Field. They have a completed vertical CV well and two well permits in the Sugar Creek Field.
Skip is right, they have certainly been under the radar!! If one knows how to navigate Sonris Lite just pull up production by operator , by parish. Look at 2013 for Lincoln parish. It was an eye opener for me. Something like just over 600,000 bbls condensate and I think 40 BCF for the year. Don't quote me on the numbers but I think it was something like that. And they have drilled a lot more since then.
yes wildhorse stays under the radar. I did not know until recently that they are actually owned by another company who put up 100% of the finances to allow them to buy Petrohawks interest in the Terryville/Hico fields. Forgot the companies name but they are about to go public companies IPO was listed over 700 million
NGP (Natural Gas Partners) financed Wildhorse - I've attached one of the most recent and least technical of the internet clips on this relationship.

Yes this is the same Moody Report that I saw. I was interested in knowing who are the investors that make up the Natural Gas Partners?? Also, when reading the report I noticed that Wild horse took out a second loan with MRD. Memorial Resource Investors are the ones that I was referring to who are about to go public., When I looked closer I found out that they are actually the owners,

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
