I just received a pre-application notice from a law firm on behalf of Indgo Minerals proposing 16new units from the Cotton Valley Formation. It includes 16 units scattered across Bethany-Longstreet Field in Caddo Parish...one of which includes my property.
I have not been contacted by this drilling company concerning royalties. I believe I still have a standing contract with Chesapeak that would probably include any Cotton Valley drilling rights.
I'm confused about this.... can anyone shed some light on what's going on here?
