I recently inherited some land in Shreveport. Does anyone know if it's possible to still get a lease.

Norman,

It is not just possible, it is probable. Just don't know WHEN.
You could get a lease in a matter of hours, but you might not like it!! For $50/acre, 1/8th royalty and a 10 year term, you could be signed up by the end of the day!! But you probably want something more reasonable. Parker's response is correct; there are going to be leases taken, but timing will depend on lots of things, the location of the lease, the size of the lease, the terms you want, etc. Heck, for the terms above I might scrape together some cash and take that one! But I'd feel guilty...well maybe not! I am a heartless conservative Republican, you know!
Norman,

Thanks! I'll take a look!
Thanks for the feedback!
