I've gotten word alot of landmen are working on a new play from Dixie Inn north along Dorcheat. Offers are 300 per acre and 25%. Would guess it is liquid.

I thought so and I am grateful for your advice. Regardless, will let you know. Everybody has to make a "killing," not a living. Also, everyone wants to feel they are in a special situation so what better way to strike the best deal for the corporation and the landman than to make the hayseed feel special? I will let you know how it works out and will pinpoint their interest.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
