I'm interested in comments on the Hood well also, dbob. Unfortunately the Allowable and Completion reports haven't been uploaded to SONRIS Classic so the only thing we have to go by is the SONRIS Lite Well File. The IP results in the Well Scout match The Times article but the Well Test portion of the file seems to be somewhat at odds with the IP data.

Saw the IP the day after SONRIS posted it.
That same day -- a local who lives near the well mentioned that they were turning "up" the production volume last week (is what I think I was told). Now, since the IP was so low, I wasn't listening too closely as to the particulars of what I was hearing, nor did I ask many questions as I normally would to get a clarification since I now assume (from all that I know) -- that there won't be any leasing by CHK in Ashland for a few years to come.
Yet, of course, I could be wrong. Just a guess on my part.
Does seem that it took a good bit of time for the IP to post on this sec 17 one as compared to the CHK Guir well in section 20 right south of it (that came in on such high volume on a much lower choke).
So, since my memory's somewhat vague on the intel on this Hood well and since I have a gut call on it all per the location (have tracked this for years, now) -- I'm willing to wait and watch the volume numbers come in per months into the future.
Maybe Les has an opinion on why this well's IP is so low compared to high numbers coming out of the sec. 20 well nearby.

Skip and others, your thoughts on AIX completion in Claiborne Parish, serial # 244209, also, the new location for an AIX well is shown as Sec.4 T 23 N R 7 West, is this correct or should it be T 22 North.

Correct, treeman. The Langford well is in S4-22N-7W. The Camp Etal will be a pretty good little well if the liquid production holds. The challenge with the Haynesville Sand is that it is a conventional reservoir and production can vary significantly in this area.
