Oil Production Companies

I currently work on an Offshore Production Platform as an A-Operator. My family and I moved to the Stonewall/Shreveport, Louisiana area approximately a year and a half ago. Due to the Haynesville Shale drilling I've noticed many wells in this area. I am interested in working in this area as a pumper/operator. I have a total of 16yrs experience in the oilfield. If anyone has a list or information on some companies that are over seeing these wells, i would deeply appreciate any information that you could pass on to me. Tks

Jay Jay, some of the most active companies in the region include Chesapeake, Petrohawk, EnCana, Shell, Exco, Questar & El Paso. I would suggest you check the websites for these companies for job postings or at least phone or e-mail contact information for their HR department.

By the way, which part of the Gulf is your location if you don't mind me asking? Shallow water - deep water. Main Pass, South Pelto, Ship Shoal, etc area?

I currently work in the south timbalier area..its roughly around 85 miles out in GOM southeast of Intercoastal City...

Jay Jay, sounds like a good location in the Gulf. I put a production facility in the South Pelto area a million years ago.

ShaleGeo...I've been working in the gulf for 16yrs..11 in the drilling side and the last 5 yrs I've been in production...i love it and now with all this drilling around the Shreveport area my wife and i are hoping ill find some Production company in the area to get hired on with...
