Permitted Wells by County/Parish, By Operator, By County

Members of this forum have been extremely helpful in assisting me to identify all of the available online resources for operator and well data.  I needed to run some reports to look at who was operating in each county/parish as well as how many permits have been issued by Operator and by county/parish.  I have provided the spreadsheet here that I compiled that will allow you to sort based on your desired criteria along with a few PDF reports I ran using the data.  The data is for the last 6 months in Louisiana (03/01/2010 - 09/10/2010) and for current year to date for Texas.  I also broke out the township and range as separate fields to allow for easier searching. Hopefully this formatted data will be helpful to others.  Disregard the Confidential Footer..This was included as part of an investor presentation..feel free to use and distribute as needed  Thanks.

Danny, thanks for sharing your work product. You may wish to make a foot note that Questar Exploration and Production is, for all intents and purposes, the same company as QEP. The divisions of the parent company were spun off as separate corporate entities, QEP is the exploration and production company, the other entity owns the pipeline, storage and marketing assets and divisions if memory serves.

Danny, good information. You should probably rename the spreadsheet to clarify it includes some non-Haynesville Shale wells in Louisiana.
