Good article. Very relevant. Pipelines are coming and everyone who owns land in this are could be potentially in the path. Now is the time to study up on eminent domain issues and ROW issues.
I believe KB has already posted a lot of information about ROW and eminent domain over in the Health & Welfare group. Warning - just like it took a lot of reading to learn about leasing issues, these next issues will also require some effort. I'm still reading ... (said with crossed eyes).
I see the small map on the article attached but can't seem to expand it and see where the proposed lines are. Any help on a map or another location to see it would be appreciated.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
