If your lease is with one company- example- Petro Hawk & your neighbor in your same section signs with Chesapeake and Chesapeake drills on his land, do you draw royalties from his well?

Yes, most likely, like Braveheart said, the only way you wouldn't is if you are in diffferent units.
Question is: Are you both in the same Unit? Next question: How do you find out?
I have no idea. I was asking for a guy at work. We had never heard of the Conservation Unit. He just knows he can see a new well from his house in DeSoto Parish. He is not completely sure if it's his section. And then he got to wondering about if was a different company, would he get royalties if it is his section. Just wishing for some money!
Keep in mind all units are not by sections. So far most HA units are, but they are not required to be. Also, not all wells are HA wells. Post your s-t-r and we can help.
What about s23, t15 r8w is anything happening in that area because they have completed the seismic survey?
Thanks for posing the questions here! It encourages others like myself who are less technical landowners to ask them as well.
