If there is one thing I don't like about this site, other than the "goofy stuff" that is often posted that has nothing to do with the Haynesville, are rumors and like things that have no basis in fact. That being said, I offer the following which may very well fall into that category.

The other day I had a conversation with a guy who said that some big shot came into his convenience store to get a Coke, etc., and the comment was made by this man that he was in the area (southern DeSoto Parish) scouting out for a place to put a HELICOPTER PAD! If this is true, just why is a helicopter pad needed in this area? Does this make any sense to anyone out there?
They used a helicoptor when they were surveying my property.

Maybe it is just easier to have it located in the area.
