My family owns property in Franklin and in Adams Co in SW Mississippi. There hasn't been much more than spotty activity in our area in many years. We own property in four separate areas, two under current TMS outline, two not. A landman has made an early contact with us showing interest the two areas that are not under the current outline of TMS. They apparently want a 60 sq mile area of the region for 3 years with an additional 2 year option and plan to do seismic and I guess proceed accordingly. I don't think there has ever been a Tuscaloosa well drilled in the vicinity of either of these properties, one NW of the town of Meadville, one just south. Seems like a pretty ambitious project---anyone have any insight? Realize it may be OT to any of the current discussion groups. Thanks very much.
