This well is located just west of keithville. The pressure test was 10000 in June. That is the highest pressure of any well in the Haynesville shale. Why have they not posted the production! I know why!

Buck,
Not being argumentative, but unless I am misunderstanding something the test pressure in June was the pressure they tested the casing to. Doesn't appear to have anything to do with production pressure.
Maybe someone with more knowledge than I can clarify this.
Jim is correct, also Sonris tends to run about a month or two behind.
gray,
Good post. Thanks.
The entry on 9/11/2008 shows a well test dated 6-29-08, flowing at 6637 MCFD. So the well has been completed and tested. However, what we are finding in N. La. in many cases is that there is no connection to a sales line. That can take weeks or months, depending on the location of the well relative to other flowlines. It can also be slowed down by the time it takes to get pipeline construction permits, surface land owner approvals, etc. In some cases, landowners have been fighting the routes of the lines in court, which further slows this down. All of this to say the time from completion to first sale of gas can be a long time and is governed by a lot of things, many of which are not controlled by the operating company. However, most leases rely on continuous production to hold a lease beyond primary term so the operators have some interest in getting these things to the sales line. Not to mention getting the cash rolling in!
Most leases also have some type of shut in rental for productive wells that are unable to market the product, a well with no pipeline conection or with broken down equipment for example. These rentals are normally pretty cheap.
Funny how those rocks migrate around....
When a well 'potentials' at 9.3mcfd or whatever after completion, how long does it normally take for the gas to start flowing and reach a market for sale? When is the 'production' data usually posted with the TRRC? Or La. DOC?
See my post above about the timing of sales. Days, weeks, months. Really depends on a lot of factors.

The Lithium Connection to Shale Drilling

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…
