If I were to select the top 5 shale storys of the year, I'd probably rate them accordingly

1. GHS get's it's 10,000th member (you didn't think that one would change did ya)

2. "Haynesville" the Movie is produced and its subsequent release on GHS. The first time the shale-gas argument is articulated effectively.

3. Exxon takes over XTO - not sure what this means yet.

4. Devon's monster well sure made alot of noise!

5. 4 Words - The Play Shifts South

"The Play Shifts South" may also be the story for 2010.
