As I understand it a UMI "owns" a proportional share of revenue proceeds from the sale of well production minus the same proportional share of well drilling and completion costs and ongoing production operating costs. Does the 3-year retroactive limit on recovery of unpaid/delinquent "lease royalties" also apply to "revenues" or does the La. Mineral Code treat unpaid revenues differently from unpaid royalties?
