Attached are a set of graphs that show historical natural gas production thru December 2009 for the US and several key states. Total US production in December was 62.8 Bcfd which was a 0.7% decrease from November. Overall gas production in the US has remained relatively flat since July 2008 but may be showing signs of decline. Most states experienced only minor changes in production but New Mexico & Wyoming combined for a decrease of 0.4 Bcfd from November.
Louisiana gas production was 5.2 Bcfd in December which is a 1.2 Bcfd increase since March 2009.
