US shale has much to gain from AI
AI is making inroads into the US shale industry as companies seek to exploit the technology's potential to reduce well costs, improve recovery factors and increase the recoverable resource base. While larger players embrace AI to gain a competitive edge, smaller operators wary of the investment may find themselves at a disadvantage, according to Quantum Capital Group founder Wil VanLoh.
