I currently have some land under lease to XTO that has been in production for over a year with a well named Borders Q. I decided to take a quick look at any activity that may be happening regarding additional well activity and I found this.

The land that I have an interest in is the William Humphries Survey and I am trying to decipher if the well outlined in the link above is actually a new well that has been permitted.
Any insight would be fantastic! Thanks....

This is permit to drill new well.
That is the one and only well in the Borders Q Unit. Write down the API #405-30394, the permit #705344 and the Lease ID #261377. These are the numbers associated with your well. When there is a new well in the unit it will have it's own unique identifiers
The well had a non-perforation zone due to some un-leased minerals in the unit which has been removed now but RRC rules required that a new permit application be filed to get that approved. If you will do a W-1 search using either the API or the permit #, all of the permit activity for that well will be returned.
thank you very much for the insight!
