gray - Isn't that informations an exact duplicate, copy & paste, of the information you posted in Jackson Parish group? It's from this same link you provided there.

Well if it is all Bossier than my vote goes to Exco or Encana?

A field that can be touted as an industry showpiece for what can be accomplished with the right technology in combo with the right commodity price sometimes attains its lofty status only after years of expensive trial and error -- and frustration -- on the part of the operators.
Vernon Field in north Louisiana is a prime example"

gray - Yep, it looks to me like that's the same info from the same post and the link provided there. I'm interested in your explanation as to how you think it's the answer to who discovered the HS.

thanks - :0)
gray - Okay, thanks for clarifying. :0)
Gray,
The post was not deleted because you did not post the whole thing. It was deleted because it was irrelevant and ridiculous. Posting the whole thing only makes it more irrelevant, ridiculous and repetative. Your lucky that I don't have the ability to delete it out of this discussion.
But you should do this website a favor and delete it your self.
And what are you referring to as "it" in your last sentance above. This discussion is about the Haynesville Shale. And your "it" ain't that.
Jay - Sorry, reply buttons are giving me fits today, so I can't reply under you.

I was simply trying to figure out why gray felt it was necessary to repeatedly copy, paste & post the same information. I also asked gray to clarify how that info answered the question posed in the discussion title. Gray says s/he believed Encana is/was the answer, but the dated & pasted article makes him/her think otherwise.

Obviously my having to ask gray to explain the redundant posting of the same article means I didn't get the point, either. I guess gray needs to just speak up more and explain his/her reasons for multiple pastings of articles. And, possibly, WHOEVER is deleting should let gray finish.

Just my thoughts, though. :0)

The website was the brainchild of Keith Mauck, a landowner and entrepreneur who recognized a pressing need: landowners in the region had little access to…
