THIS WELL HAS BEEN PRODUCING FOR A YEAR NOW AND HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING: ANY IDEAS HOW LONG THEY HOLD YOUR MONEY BEFORE THEY START TO PAY?

Could be 12 months or more.  But you should have been calling the home office making inquiries several months ago.

we have a producing well with XTO.  It began producing 11-11 and we received first

royalty check in 9-12.
