great!
Dude, you rock! How recent is that offer?
Groovy! I hope they keep getting better.
Who was that offer from? We have a group formed in T20-R15 with about 5000-6000 acres and want to start marketing the land.
Trey,
What is the name of your group?
It's called Cross Keys. I don't know how my dad came up with that name. My dad and his friend has 195 acres in T20-R15 and are trying to bundle several land owners in that area to have a bigger bargaining chip. I work at Frymaster in Shreveport; I'm just helping him since he doesn't play on the internet much. I will be the one who has to call the O&G companies when we are ready to market the land. I'm interested to here of any offers you have been getting and who they are from since we are close to marketing the groups land. So far Lone Star has told me $10-$12K up front which I think they can go higher. My email is Tbonnett@frymaster.com . Look forward to hearing from you.
You had better research this Lone Star Trey! Looks like they are flipping leases and are not out any money! There was a thread on here and it disappeared.
South Bossier offer from PetroHawk:
20K/25%
17N/13W Sections 23,24,19
19 was not in that offer
The offer for section 19 should have stated 17N/12W not 13W. Golden Meadows covers two separate ranges.
sounds like infill leaseing.
Petrohawk paid $2950 for a lot in Golden Meadows last night, for a fact with check in hand.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
