I confirmed today my land is now under lease with Chesapeake. It's a 5 year agreement. This is family owned land currently held under production by a small producer on a 6,500' gas well since 1985. Cheasapeake negotiated the agreement with the smaller producer so I am out of the loop pertaining to the financial agreement. The smaller producer reported to me however that they feel confident Cheasapeake will drill sooner than later.
