Would be interested to know y'all thoughts/opinions on what "they" would be looking for in the Miller County (AR) area...Cass County, NW LA & most of the ARK/LA stateline to the east of Miller County are all very active but it seems each area has a different target.

Definetly seems to be oil from what i can piece together Rebecca.  NG prices are way too low!

Thanks inthestix.  Any idea to the zones that would be the target?  Since 2010 two companies have their sights on our land in S5T20SR27W--Kelly Bayou Field.  It is another one of those areas that produced for decades.  My family received their "little oil checks" on this field up until almost the mid 90's.  We have quite a bit more minerals but this is where the interest has stayed for the last two years.  It is the most easterly part of our holdings.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
