I know I have a lot of posts lately, but I have alot of questions not being answered by EOG. Here it is:

When the water is drained from the tanks and taken off the owners property to be disposed of there is about an inch of oil on top. I was told the truck driver takes that oil and illegally sells it across the border in Louisiana. Who should get the money for that oil? Anyone have any reliable information on this subject?

I believe the people who haul the water off to the deposal well will separate the oil at deposal well site before it is injected into deposal well. This is part of their profit and decreases the cost to operator to depose of the water and decreases the cost also to the royalty owners. It is sold legally to same people that everyone sells their oil to
