See my post on Shelby County Group. The Pettet H oil wells Cabot reported on are only about 8-9 miles East of Martinsville accross the Nacgodoches County Line. Any one getting any phone calls on any un-leasedminerals in area? Then again as hot as the Martinsville/county line field area is doudt if anyone still has unleased minerals.

That is interesting. I hope that extends west into Nacogdoches county. I keep waiting for a report on the Samson Opie well but it hasn't made the papers yet. I may have to drive down there & see what I can find out. I did recieve an offer to purchase my minerals in Nacogdoches county, which leads me to beleive somebody knows something. Of course they are not for sale.
Lots of activity in that area and nobody is saying anything...usually a good sign. Lots of earning releases next week though and conference calls are good sources of the most current info available. You can listen to them online. Unfortunately Samson doesn't have one but EOG may be interesting to listen to for some of the deeper wells in Nacogdoches.
Also CHK and HK has conference call next week or so
There is always some one trying to purchase (or I should say steal at low price)our minerals they send out offers with address and interest ownership obtained off the county tax rolls for all royalty apprasied property. They get a DVD or CD from tax office each county updated every year.
A friend of my mother (elderly lady) was sent a letter a couple of weeks ago offering to buy minerals in Shelby County for 500.00 an acre. That was a purchase offer, not a lease offer. I haven't had time to go read the letter to see who is stealing minerals from old people. Makes me furious. She thought it was a good offer because they have never recieved any income from them except for some bonus money over the years.
Hope you where able to talk or have your mom talk to her
I also send it to EOG and CHK. They like our congress can not read all the news every day. I do think oil & gas operator will read complete data and reports before making decisions not like the liberals in congress voting on bills before they read it to know whats in it i.e. the Cap and Trade bill (I should say "TAX and TRADE") Thanks for sending it to XTO it may stimulate more activity in area of the tri-county

adubu, thanks for the info and i want you to know what a ripple effect your post is having. since i am in the same area, i called my contact at xto, . i asked him since there had been oil discovery in the area if xto was going to be doing any oil wells? he was unaware of the activity and asked me to email him some info. so after you responded to me i went to the quarterly report and copied the part about shelby to him. he responded by saying thank you and he was going to pass it along to the geologist and engineers. thats a pretty big ripple affect my freind. keep up the good work and thanks again for passing it along.

They are on the RRC site. go to online queries, click drilling premits and check listing for Cabot Oil & Gas Shelby County permits. You will see wells premitted by Cabot. Forest#5H API # 419-31435 and Timberstar-Redditt #4 H API # 419-31465. The production will be several months before posted. Then you can go to COG web site read last weeks press release about the Pettet Oil find in Shelby. Also you can listen to their conference call for more info. Read the permits for all depth and other formation

thanks adubu, this is a prime example of networking at work.
