Stanaland Trust 1H (347-33194) and tanker truck traffic

The drilling on this well was finished up in January and I have posted some updates about what I could see is going on since then (the site is about a half mile down CR 1492 from me. I have noticed what appears to be an increase in the tanker truck traffic in and out. There does not appear to have been anything else much going on. Someone told me they figured the tankers were hauling salt water out. Would there be a large "production" of salt water from a well that is not yet producing gas???

Ben, if they did a "frack" on the well recently, the trucks are hauling away flow-back water from the frack and any produced (salt) water from the formation.  This would mean that they should be reporting first production before long, if the pipeline is in place.

I don't think the "frack" has taken place unless it can be done in the dark of the night. Sites where I have seen what I think was that process seem to involve a lot of trucks etc that are very recognizable and the process seems to take some days to do...

I don't know, then.  If you think the frack hasn't been done yet could they be going to the Sonerra well just north of the Stanaland Trust well?  It's the Thunderbolt #1, 347-32361, completed in the Kendrick (James) and it could be producing more salt water now.

Yes I guess that is a possibility--entry to both wells is on a shared driveway. Only the Stanaland pad is partially visible from CR 509. I will see if I can follow a tanker down there if I happen to see one come by here. There are a large number of storage tanks on the Stanaland pad partially visible from the road.

I passed by the site just now and it looked like some of the tanks were gone and I could see a lifting crane above the trees. When I came back 2 tow trucks were coming out with empty storage tanks in tow. Looks like they are removing the tanks. I will see in a day or 2 if they are all gone or what.

The site is now a beehive of activity and the frac appears to be in progress...this was of yesterday.

It must cost a fortune to do the frac as there has been steady heavy duty truck traffic around the clock. My road is getting torture treatment. I drove by for a casual look after lunch today and the whole site is filled up with various trucks etc.

The frac process has been completed. What appears to be a layout path for gas line has been in place for some time but no activity on that yet. As of this morning there was nothing on the RRC completions site about the well. I don't know how long it takes for that report to show up.

They were likely hauling water IN rather than OUT.

Ben, the report is in.  IP was 11.476 MMcfd on a 17/64 choke with 8630# flowing pressure.

jffree1 please tell me how you found the IP test report. I have been searching the completions reports and as of earlier today there was still nothing on the Stanaland Trust well.
