David Crocket, look at the IP's on well serial # 219142, 218184 and #221184.

seems to me that a lot of the vernon parish austin chalk wells are doing pretty good-gas wise as well as producing oil...

Is this a new well?

is this anywhere near the EOG ft. polk field?

Blackjack this well is about 3 miles Northeast of Rosepine. It is on the West  line just outside the National Forest South of Ft Polk. I wouldn't hold my breath while waiting for anything to be drilled  on the National Forest Ft Polk would be off limits for anything other than an operator with top secret clearance I would think. It is my understanding that the Armydoes have a device that can be placed on a natural gas well that can turn NG  into JP fuel that the army uses to power most of its engines.

another new well was permitted today in vernon parish as well as two salt water disposal wells
