J-W Operating has filed for two (2) additional Haynesville Units for the Woodwardville Field and three (3) Haynesville Units for the Jamestown Field in Bienville Parish. The hearing is scheduled for October 6th. These are the 1st Haynesville units in T16N-R8W.

anybody know of anyone interested in leasing in this area. the only offer that i have had wuz from impressa and it wuz not enough as far as i'm concerned. (sec 32 & 33, 16N 8W)

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
