XTO Energy pooling in 16N 9W for sections 7, 8 &16
Had a letter in the box today for a pre-application on above sections. The pre application conference will be on May 22,2009 in Shreveport if any interested party calls one.
Has XTO ever drilled a Haynesville well ? The pooling notice doesn't say anything about hortzional drilling and I wonder if they are going to punch some vertical wells!
PetroHawk is drilling in 10 and has permitted 15, while 21 & 28 will be pooled on May 5th or 6th ..so a lot of applications for NW Bienville.

Thanks ...glad to hear of it!
I know XTO has drilled some CV/Hosston in the area and most were non producers. Maybe they will have better luck with the shale! -
