Looking for any information about a hit and run accident involving a blue isuzu pick-up truck & white full size pick-up truck (either Ford or Chevy??) pulling a black flat-bed long trailer going southbound on Barksdale Blvd between Brookshire's (Jimmy Davis & Barskdale) and South Gate Estates on or around 2:00 P.M. (09/16/08). Blue isuzu was in the right land (going southbound) and the white truck w/ black trailer was following behind when the white truck w/ black trailer pulled out from behind to pass by way of the left lane and then cutting sharp to the right in front on the blue isuzu resulting in a collision or side swipe. The flat bed trailer hit the front left (driver side) of the blue isuzu nearing removing the front bumper and causing major damage. The white truck and trailer never once slowed down for a second and continued to travel southbound down barksdale blvd. Driver of blue isuzu waiting and called police from home in Golden Meadows. Please if anyone has any info about this reply to this forum discussion. The driver appeared to be unaware that he just hit someone considering that he never slowed down. Thank you for any info.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
