2,000 bopd
1853 bopd
The estimates are in with a low of 550 bopd to a high of 2000 bopd. I am sure everyone hopes Sarah is correct. And I think she could be right. Mueller said the frac in the 200ft interval of the Dean achieved 60% of the fracture area as the 4000 ft interval in the BML well. Also the Dean's IP was 60% of the BML's- 200 bopd vs 350 bopd. If those production numbers from the 200 ft of the Dean could be duplicated by the 4700 ft of the Doles then it could IP at 4700 bopd. Now that we know 50% of the frac stages usually do not contribute to the production, that number would be 2350 bopd. Great guess Sarah! I hope you win the money!
Ha! Ha! If I win will donate to GHS! Will say I never was the person to win the guess of how many jelly beans in the glass bowl!
I don't know about the pipeline but saw the rigs a few days ago. DeSoto 20 is stacked at Bayou De Loutre site and DeSoto 21 is stacked at the site in Claiborne Parish west of Junction off New Home Road. There is more equipment at Bayou De Loutre site. SWN may not drill where the rigs are stacked but that's where they are for now.
Rumor: SWN going to stake off another area soon, don't know where.
Another area in what they consider their high pressure zone?
975 bopd. As far as the pipeline, I rode up to Union Parish a couple of weeks ago to check on the pipeline going through some land I have there. It was almost finished then. Drill on!!!
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
