In Arkansas, they are due on the 15th of each month; however they are not required to be filed until the well is actually completed... so any oil made during the completion phase will not be reported until that time. For example the SWN well in Atlanta field is still in the completion phase, so they do not have to file yet, but can sell oil since they have the proper authorization to do so.
Even then, they could neglet to file... the commision would send a letter demanding the filling. They can delay about another 60 days this way.
