SHARP22, Tick Creek Field

Landowner in this production unit.  I have begun researching the oil and gas industry.  As a novice, I would like to know the anticipated life of a vertical well. I would also like to know if SWN plans to drill horizontally in the unit?  Thank you for any responses.

There is no set time frame for how long a vertical well can produce - it all depends on the quality of the zone that the well is completed in plus the economics (i.e. oil prices vs operating costs).

No way of knowing where and if SWN will be drilling horizontals. Suggest you look at SWN website to get a feeling as to their present interest in the Brown Dense.

Thank you Rock Man.  I fear horizontal drilling; trying to be eco-responsible.  I have been told that horizontal drilling is not cost responsible in the brown dense rock.
