They should be making decision by end of week on drilling this well or moving rig to Mississippi.

Patterson UTI Rig still reporting Stand By, 3/7/14.  New projected spud date 3/12.

Patterson UTI Rig #199 still reporting Stand By, 3/14/14.  New projected spud date 3/20.

Skip,

This if off subject here...

I have a 4 year primary and 4 year option lease effective May 28,2010. When should I expect payment for 4 year option( assuming company will choose to renew)? I believe there is a 30 day notice required per lease terms.

Sometimes an operator gives no notice so I'm unsure what SWN or their land companies may do in that regard.  Either a check arrives in the mail or it does not.  Renewals will probably  be based on location in proximity to derisked areas in Union Parish.  I suspect there are many leases reaching primary term expiration this spring and summer.  Hopefully we will begin to get reports of some renewals soon.

I talked to landman last week about my lease with SWN. My term expires July 10th and he said I should receive payment around the first of May to pick up the option. He said they have been trying to stay about 2 months ahead of term expiration.

Hey G Meaux...where are you located, trying to get an idea as to where SWN feels there is value.

T22N R2W Section 14

well, dang.  That's a good piece away from the marion wells.

Rig is headed to North Central Ark for SWN.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
