You may be correct, Tony.  SWN sent out a reminder for that conference also.  It might be awkward to have differing announcements for presentations at conferences on consecutive days.  One or both may go a long way to helping us see some direction for future SWN Brown Dense development.  It's about time.

Please give us more color on the State's restrictions on flaring gas. IS that why theyve been using such small choke sizes?

Depends on the period of time you are referring to.  For the last 30 or so days SWN could flow the wells hooked to their pipeline system on any choke setting they chose including no choke, wide open.  Prior to the connection to pipeline flowing the wells had to conform to permission granted by the state to flare.  I've never seen the written regulation on flaring and suspect that it is allowed by formal request and specific authorization from the Office of Conservation so the permission may vary by well type and/or operator request.  Unlimited flaring is prohibited by the State of Louisiana.

Craig Owen, the SWN CFO, only talked briefly about the Brown Dense. He did say that, of their New Ventures plays, he considered the BD to be further along the road to commerciality than the Colorado and Montana plays. However, he said the chances of the BD becoming economic were at this point no more than 50/50. He said the Doles well is still cleaning up and they will give a more complete report on it in February. The SONRIS report of yesterday seemed to indicate the Doles is now producing about 300 bopd

New Ventures activity came up in the last 4 minutes.  SWN has three primary areas: Brown Dense, Baaken, and DJ Basin in Colorado.  There are now 6 wells in the Brown Dense - 2 are on production.  He said the last one is better, but "we still have a long way to go" to optimize the wells for commercial production.  Finally, the moderator asked, of the three areas, which one would SWN expect will be first to achieve commercial production that could make an impact.  The quick answer was, Brown Dense "because we've drilled more wells there and know more about the rock and the opportunity."  Sorry, another question was, When might we have more information?"  The response: February.

That was it.  90% of the presentation is about the Marcellus which is clearly the focus of the company for 2013 and beyond, supplanting the Fayetteville shale.
