Is this well even in the BD? According to the map on the link below, the BD should be below 12,000 -13,000 in that area unless I am reading it wrong (which is possible) or the map is bad.

my mistake, i was looking at the Hicks well which is just south of Bernice. It's one line above the Tom Rosa on the Sonris list.
Has anyone heard anything recently about Ankor..?? When do they plan on drilling?
Ankor has now cleared off the pad site, it appears to be a couple of acres big. Hopefully they will drill into some natural fractures????????!!!!!!!!!

Your welcome. I don't understand why these companies keep drilling when there is "no LSBD play". I guess they did not get the memo.
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
