I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks. G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.
24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil. 1179 bbls of water with that. Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.
Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale. Any other thoughts?

Reportedly, another rig is standing in close proximity to the Merriwether maybe a Treadstone Well so bump up the HC count by one more rig to 6.
Looks like Halcon (3) and Treadstone(1) have stood up 4 rigs just across the Trinity River in Leon Co. from Alabama Ferry westward towards Centerville. Also Halcon has a rig working in Madison, so they came to the area to play "hard ball" again most wells are H.

Save your gas hunting these wells as someone gets a commercial locator service once a week ---------- sometimes they miss a new one but will pick it up the next week.

Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
