I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks.  G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.

24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil.  1179 bbls of water with that.  Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.

Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale.  Any other thoughts?

Hey Martin I took a ride out to that location the other day north of Midway. The one tall skinny tank you were talking about is called a heater/treater. It's what separates all the oil, water and everything else that comes out of the hole. Then it's piped over to the tanks. Usually the tanks are just painted to match whatever the company colors are.
Martin,
"your opinion would be" ------ they have a woman that is kin to my wife in charge of matching the colors ------------ seriously the company takes a little pride in the way things look on their locations ---- this is a "good thing"

Martin if you own an interest in this well ask your company landman to give you some details

LOL......Now I can relate to that.......coordinate, everything has to coordinate. Thanks as always.

Martin

New rig up tonight near Shiloh Church (NE of Pearson Chapel) in HC must be on one of the recently permitted Interstate wells ------------ can also see 2 rigs up to the west probably in Leon Co. but could be a workover rig ? -------- Work-over rig on Trivium Brown reportedly drilling out some plugs to do MORE fracing. ----- Pad enlargement of "Jackson" continues, neighbors complaining about loud gas compressor running 24/7 on "Jackson" -------- Interstate and Trivium continue to procure flow-line ROWs -------- Basin rig working for Trivium is working N of Mapleton off the dump/dyke road will reportedly move to "Jackson #2H" next. Also Nabors rig working near Spring Mar for ETOC (?)

For some reason this site not giving me auto-updates on Pennington Discussion so guess I need to manually look it up and see what XTO is doing in SE part of county.

Anybody know who is building the yard on hwy 21 between Austonio and Mapleton ?

Randy,
"Our lease in Weldon made specific reference to Gouldie Well" ? why

XTO is on Revolver still, Trivium is on Merriwether -WB- #1 in A-359, Navidad is on Eastham SPF #204 in A-716 and ETOCO just spudded Davy Crockett #1H in A-792.  All horizontal except the Eastham well.

Dry Hole, deep  rights retained by us.

Thanks Jffree,

Thanks for adding the specifics -------- when you add the new rig that Interstate just stood up that makes at least 5 known rigs back working in Houston County with more reportedly on the way.
But the most important FACT that you have pointed out is that the long anticipated Horizontals Have started in HC.

Was just looking at the Eagle Ford Shale Forum on another site and folks over there are starting to comment on how the play has made it's way into East Texas and that several of the Big respectable South Tx Players have expanded into the area and the "Dots" are starting to connect.

Reportedly, another rig is standing in close proximity to the Merriwether maybe a Treadstone Well  so bump up the HC count by one more rig to 6.

Looks like Halcon (3) and Treadstone(1) have stood up 4 rigs just across the Trinity River in Leon Co. from Alabama Ferry westward towards Centerville. Also Halcon has a rig working in Madison, so they came to the area to play "hard ball"  again most wells are H.

Found 5 rigs today. Basin 101 drilling for Interstate on Patrick. Basin 103 still on the ORL Unit. Looks like crews are working on setting new cellar on Jackson. Never did find a pipe yard on 21 but did see a new location built on south side of 21 between Austonio and Mappelton. Crews are working digging a new pipeline on north side of 21 near Mappleton. And last but not least my very first rig to ever work on Nabors 205 is drilling north of Lovelady for ETOCO. That use to be a drilling S.O.B when we worked for Crosstimbers/XTO. Ten thousand foot in 10 days was normal for us!! Sure don't miss that!! Anyways figured I would share some of my knowledge today with you guys. Also both Scan rigs still look to be drilling also.

Don't wells corkscrew when drilled that fast?

Most rigs that drill that fast have a down hole motor. We were just a fast rig. I was green working on it and trust me it was some scary shit going that fast. We weren't on location more then 12-14 days. Drilled around the Marquez area.

Lucky, Reportedly the "new location" that you saw is going to be a operators yard and possibly a SWD as well ------------ also they bought that land out-right --------- when I went by a week or so ago there were frac tank trailers already stored out there.

Save your gas hunting these wells as someone gets a commercial locator service once a week ---------- sometimes they miss a new one but will pick it up the next week.
