I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks. G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.
24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil. 1179 bbls of water with that. Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.
Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale. Any other thoughts?

Any news what Trivium/Terrace is up to. Is there a lawsuit or not? Does anybody have any guesses. Wish things would pick up. Hopefully with GE infusing 15 Billion to study and improve fracking something good will happen soon :))))
T Hill------ I have not been to the courthouse to look but good reports say yes about the lawsuit
Do not think that is what is delaying Trivium development though -------- after several wells they just don't seem to have a barn burner
Workover rig seems to be up on Devon Well
Thanks DH
Our lease is good? till next year so hopefully they will do something or maybe someone else will come thru. Need a good "Backyard Oil" driller to get their divining/dowsing rod out. If they wont use the 3D seismic maps from 2009.
Thanks again for the update

I know thats right. Our lease will be up with Trivium next November and I hope them or if they sell to someone else gets on the ball. It seems oil companies waste thousands of dollars on leasing land and never do anything with it. Then I see the price of gas and wonder how much of it is wasted like leases.
Treadstone Energy aquired 15000 acres in Madison and Houston County on May 18th from an undisclosed seller. The sale included production and facilities. Any ideas who the seller might be?
That's interesting news, Randy...
When you write "acquired 15,000 acres", do you mean they bought the acreage outright or leased the acreage? Just curious...15,000 acres is a lot of real estate that will require a substantial cash outlay. If they purchased the property, then that means they are planning to stay awhile...which is good news!
I wonder who they got the acres from ?????? Guess who ever had leases will get a letter saying their lease was sold. Very interesting? How long will it take for the truth to come out?
Rats :( was hoping for some new activity

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
