Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on A unit application actually results in a field order. Goodrich's application was approved July 15, 2014 as Field Order 1369-B. A field order remains in force indefinitely but has no requirement to drill a well in any set time period. Goodrich will still need to apply for and receive a permit to drill for a well in the unit. The timing of drilling a well is driven more by the primary term of the leases pooled in the unit. Link to field order follows:
