Does anyone know when the Mississippi Oil And Gas Board Online site updates a well's production numbers? I understand that they would be a couple of months behind and the latest numbers they have are for May production. Any idea when June will be posted on the site?

Don't know when June numbers will be up, but MSOGB is notoriously slow to update.

They generally respond pretty well to email questions through the site. You might try asking them that way. As you may have noticed, they are sporadic about adding new permit listings. They meet every Thursday but sometimes a month later will add two or three weeks at once, so kind of unpredictable.

Looks like the MSOGB has updated production totals for June and July as of this morning. But now I'm confused as to why I was paid for 531 barrels of oil produced in June when the MSOGB site shows 600 barrels in June. Can anyone explain this or should I ask in another post?

You are paid on barrels "sold", not "produced".  As time passes you will eventually have a month in which you are paid for more barrels than were produced once accumulated production gets to market.

Thank you Ronny. I feel much better now.
