a landman recently told me that folks in pike county are holding out for big money. people in pike having long term experience with oil companies (little creek, lazy creek) will be tough to sign to hold by production (one well now others three or four years later) Connoco Philips moving on lots of old leases for good terms (2,0000-15,000) per acre, Shell, statoil, other majors now taking over in third year in eagleford. Independents prove plays, majors move in and complete entire fields.
